Today and tomorrow marks the highlight in the online bingo calendar when the 4th annual online bingo summit takes place. It will be held in London again this year, but with a change of venue, this time taking place at the Millennium Gloucester. This summit has grown in size and popularity year on year and has become the most important summit for online bingo operators in the UK to attend.
It is here that the annual awards go out to the industry in all kinds of categories and this year we see, Tombola, Cozy Games, Virtue Fusion, Cheeky Bingo, and Game Village Bingo all up as nominees for the prestigious Bullet Business award for "Best Innovation". There are various categories of games that have been nominated for this award together with the site or software operator and we are all familiar with names like Tombola's Free Fall and Bingo Roulette and Game Village's Elimination Bingo. However Marine Mayhem is a slots game designed by Virtue Fusion and this is also up for the award so each of these operators/designers is coming up against tough competition.
The summit is the place to be over the next two days for anyone involved in online bingo operations. It is where you will find out about the latest trends in the industry and who knows, we might even see some new software launched and coming out from under wraps. But it is not all going to be about work and critical insight, the delegates will also have some time for fun too. Online bingo is after all a fun game to play, so time to relax is on the cards.
Personally, my money is on Tombola, although I love Game Village Bingo too. They are two of my absolute favourite sites. Tombola have a wealth of experience in developing online bingo, having previously been responsible for Sun Bingos website, although have only offered online bingo under their own name for the past year since Sun Bingo moved over to Game Sys for their bingo. Game Village on the other hand continue to expand in popularity, also developing their own unique bingo platform offering bingo players the opportunity to be a part of their extremely unique bingo community.
